Kinking, to avoid. Drop the needle
down from time to time & let it
spin; or turn needle over from R to L, after
making each knot.
Do not join fresh twine on the
last of a row of meshes.
*Mending, cut out to make an
even hole, net as required and
brede the edges (p. 16.)
Adjust the foundation cord con-
veniently as the net lengthens. [?thorn?]
Pull the knots tight.
Do not force the pace.
[?thorn?] A convenient device for assisting
adjustment is to make a double
loop as under with the ends half
knotted as at a. fig 23.
The half knot can be
tied against the larks
head so as to enlarge
[Caption: (fig 23)] or reduce the double loop. It will not slip.
