gives this figure (which is the precise ar-
rangement in fig.1 seen from the back)
The crossings here are
not alternate. I don’t
know whether Tait’s figure shows the breaks for the
crossings, but presumably so. The knot is
K3 5a/10c = II3 5b/10c
* The Japanese method is unknown to
the author, but the above is easy enough.
