difference. This Wall through Two
Bights is a connecting link between
the Single Wall ( through one - the
adjacent bight ) and the Matthew
Walker ( p 177 ) on p 177 ( through three
bights.) For which reason some
term it a Single Matthew Walker
(Jutsum 36) and others, confusing
it with the Pigtail on p.165. call
it a Double Wall ( Steel, i.183, a
crown being added.) It is not a
pretty knot.
An alternative & quicker way
of making is shown in figs 6, 7, 8,
but this plan is more confusing
to beginners difficult to remember-
