Single Crown & Single Wall.
Other names: Man-rope knot. H.37.
To make : Make a single crown first;
then a single wall & pull the wall
down below the crown, the end of the
rope being held upwards. Trim off the
ends or otherwise dispose of them.
Uses : A rope end knot often used for
the ends of man-ropes on board
ship.
