To make: Make the pigtail on p165 and instead
of seizing the ends make with them the
single wall with which the knot began.
But if the ends are to be cut short, or if,
being long, they are not wanted to lie
in line with the rope, a far better finish
is provided by the single crown shown
in fig 3, p141, the single wall in that
figure being replaced here by the cushion
of the pigtail.
