part brought forward is to cross only the
other part of the fox to which it be-
longs & one other part only. Hence 3
will cross iii & ii but will be under i;
4 will cross iv & iii but be under ii & i;
and however many foxes there are the
parts of them brought forward will
cross two parts only & be under all the
rest. See fig 4.
