Knot mats (various)
To make: any system of interlaced
knots will make a mat: e.g.:-
Make the same knot in the same way each time.

This overhand knotting makes a better mat
than the reef knot mat in the writers opinion
but is very wearisome. Complicated knots
e.g. Carrick Bends, may be multiplied in
the same way. Cf Austrian Knot for an
example. All this sort of thing belongs
to the domain of crochet & knitting
rather than to knotting.
