(Cork) Knot (1) H. 33. iv. T.
To make: This arrangement is used
to tie down the corks of fizzy drinks.
First make a brooch knot c, so that
the bight of it is about the height of
the top of the
kn cork from the bottom
of the collar round the bottle's neck.
Put the knot of the brooch knot
under the collar, take the parts
round & tie a reef knot d. Bring
a up over the cork, pass it through
the bight of the brooch knot; haul
it back tightly & tie a & b with
another reef knot at e.
Uses: To tie down corks.
