Manifold Knots. e.g. Twofold, Threefold,
&c ... n - fold.
Other names : Blood Knots or Quipu
knots according to form. Twist Knots
when left in the form shown in fig 1,
e.g. tied round a post, half knot fashion.

Note : If two ends. of a cord are
half knotted as for an overhand and

then one or both ends carried through
the bight a second time or oftener

have an end put through the bight
