Trick. To get the string off
the man without his hand
being removed from his waist-
coat pocket. (His coat is off.)
Pass the string through the
right arm-hole, over the
head, ^through left arm-hole & under left arm pit, & draw down under-
neath waistcoat to ground. The man
can then step out of it. (Puzzles 1905.
