Parcel tie. "scout". Vol. VI p 763. (20 May 1911.)
After fig 2, turn over & finish as usual.
Parcel Knot:- (C. S. C. S. Oct. 1911.)
[Diagram] The ends "a" had been
strained so as to convert
the whole into a "bloodknot"
and the stopper at "b" was tied tight against it. A
very effective knot.
[Diagram] Probably the part "a" was tied
as an overhand round "b"; then
"x" was lifted up in front &
titched back round "a" & "b"
; * or more likely, "a" & "b" twisted back
& brought through the bight together.

&part
"b"
then "a" was strained & "b" stopped
strained & stopped.
I find "b" can be tightened after "a" has been con-
verted to the blood knot. Probably this is the method.
