To increase the width: net

over & passing the needle through
both at once.
To “brede” * or join the edges
of a net, as in making bags &c.
Having finished the flat net,
and taken it off the foundation cord,
turn it upside down so that the
slack twine proceeds upwards from the a top end loop
Bring the edges together, overlap
the top two meshes & hang them
both over a hook. (fig 10. p15.)
