In the Casting on method, the
top meshes are slightly larger than
the rest. In this they are of
the same size.
Square nets. * With the fingers tie a
loop found the foundation cord with
a weaver's Knot. Net on two meshes
to this: draw the mesh pin & net
another row, netting twice onto the
right hand end loops. To continue
everytime until a row of meshes
equal to the diagonal of the
square required is obtained. ^Net one row without increasing or diminishing. Then
diminish by taking up the last
two right hand loops ^of each row together until
only one mesh remains. Do not as yet tighten the last knot made. Stretch
