(4) Neck (& toe) freed. (Egyptian.)
Tie or bind together the ends of
a string about 6 ft long. Sit on
ground & extend by passing over
head & - for choice- L toes. With
hands backs up, cross R.H.1 over
L.H.1. Move hands to L. of L string,
crook L.H.1 over it at a and so
carry it across under R. string by
moving both hands to R. (fig 2.)
Now crook R.H.1 over original R.
string ^at b - i. e. the one still taut from
inside of L foot to R. of neck- and
separate the hands (fig 3.). Grasp
^with L.H. the part where L.H.1. is, slip L.H.1.
and by giving a cable twist, make
here a loop large enough to pass
over the head (4). Lift this loop up
& down over the head (without re-
volving it); release R.H. ^(fig 5.); kick L
foot forward, & the neck is freed.
